The Shadow Abomination is every bit as frightening as it name implies. It uses its impressive speed and agility (startling for a creature that size) to close the line at an almost leisury pace, evading every attack thrown down range. Any rounds that actually connect are the result of ricochets and inadequate to penetrate its chitinous shell. The only sure way to destroy this horrifying beast is in hand-to-hand, which is exceedingly hazardous to put it mildly.
