Fort Hendrix comes with 6 new survivors bound to the story: 3 of them are hardcore survivalists, and were called upon by their friend Penny to rescue her mother.

The other 3 are soldiers, and survived the first waves of zombie onslaught on their own. The unlikely team enters the military base at their own risk, bound to unveil its darkest secrets!

The expansion features Advanced Equipment decks replacing Zombicide’s classic decks for Starting Equipment, Equipment, and Pimpweapons. They work just the same, with a couple additions:

(1) The All-Out value, using the new All-Out mechanics, allows the survivor to push their weapon beyond its limits. The special All-Out dice are rolled as extras: the “1” value has been replaced with a “Break” symbol. If these All-out dice rolls a Break (or more), the weapon is discarded right after the attack! Check the weapons characteristics, and use this brutal mode carefully: some weapons become savage when going All-Out.

(2) Some weapons feature a Keep value allowing the survivors to keep them from a game to the next. The more potent a weapon is, the higher the Keep value. Roll as many All-Out dice at the end of each game. The weapon is kept as long as no Break result is rolled.

Advanced Equipment cards, and the related new mechanics, can be used in any way you please during your classic Zombicide games.

Military Equipment is found when performing the Search Action on a military tile. This Equipment grants access to weapons with a greater All-Out value, and special tech like night Vision Googles and Incendiary Grenades.

Fort Hendrix was overrun by zombies very soon in the apocalypse. Despite their valiant resistance, some soldiers got infected and turned into zombies. Unfortunately, they still hold their rifle, and use them compulsively! These Shooter Walkers are introduced into the game by replacing the classic Zombie deck with the one found in this expansion.

Whenever a Shooter Walker card is drawn for spawning purpose, Shooter Walkers already on the board shoot at every Zone with a Survivor they can see. Then, more zombies are added on the board, including additional Shooter Walkers. Keep an eye on these loose cannons, and put them down as soon as possible before they fire!

Fort Hendrix also contains 6 new, double-sided gaming tiles representing an U.S. Army base. These tiles are fully compatible with the ones found in Zombicide: 2nd Edition, with different Zone layouts. They make full use of the dark rules used to spawn zombies in the core box, and expanded to full night rules with the expansion…

… Night rules? Yes, with the Clock token! Replacing the classic First Player Token, the Clock tracks the flow of time during the game, altering lines of sight and accuracy as the night falls upon the board. Draw your melee weapon as the night comes!

Luckily, Survivors can use light sources, like Flashlights, to see what’s going on and keep on shooting at zombies. Switch the light at the right time, though, as it marks your survivor as a target, and drive the zombies mad.

Fort Hendrix’ missions replace Objective tokens with Objective cards. Objective cards are revealed and read out loud upon being taken, driving your gaming group through tough choices having an influence on the ongoing mission, and sometimes upon the entire campaign itself.

Using the Keep rules for Equipment, the Objective card for the narration, and the campaign sheet to track the progression of your survivors, players can go through Star Spangled Banner, Fort Hendrix’ campaign. Discover the militaries’ dirty secrets about the zombie invasion!
