Colson’s Coyotes were a band of outlaws that preyed on travelers, settlers, stages, and trains from the Mississippi to the Rockies. Over a decade of manhunts, posses, and bounties never turned up so much as their hideout, let alone hide nor hair of the gang unless they were on the job. Like their namesakes, they’d vanish into the wilderness, not to be seen again until cresting the rise in pursuit of their next target. Colson’s gang is gone now (zombified), so if he can just make it through, the treasure is all his.
