Connie was once a Texas Ranger, one of the best in the business. His career wasn’t long, but it was successful, with him capturing more than a few desperate fugitives, often before they could flee south of the border. But as luck would have it, the day he hung up his badge and got married was the day the stage taking him and his new bride to their new land was robbed. The thieves took everything of value, but in particular his wife’s wedding ring. He’s vowed to get it back, come hell or high water.
