Dzaní
“It’s not the end for these poor people. Jo’oh’naa ei (sun) still shines and crops still grow. Hope remains.”
Dzaní is not used to fighting but can hold her own when necessary, like most Navajo. More advantageous is her eye for useful materials and her talent for growing crops. Not much call for sowing a field in a pitched battle, but spotting a weapon tucked here or some bandages there has saved her life and others more than once. When everything is over, she’ll help whoever remains re-sow their fields and begin anew.
