Eli was a former cavalryman in the Army during the last war. An unfortunate incident with a cannon nearly destroyed both his hands, but he’s since recovered most of their old flexibility. He went out West to pan for gold, but sadly nothing ever really materialized. He’s never been penniless, but the drifting life has brought him from town to town, working as needed on ranches and farms. In truth, the zombies have given him renewed purpose, since helping people in need was always a calling.
