Hobbes

“They wanted my attention, and now they got it!”

As mayor of a small mining town in the Black Hills, Hobbes was content to let most troubles sort themselves out while he collected the tax money. Most of that money went into his pockets, and he makes few bones about it. So long as the investors behind the mining concerns were happy with the payout, no one ‘of consequence’ would vote against him. Thus he was free to ignore the town’s open lawlessness until the money stopped flowing and the dead started walking. Fortunately, Hobbes knows how to shoot, and all that cash bought a damn fine pair of pistols.
