Although her preacher father wanted Lilith to be married off to a nice feller in a city somewhere, ranching was in Lilith’s blood. In time she came to own her own land and made a prosperous living. Naturally large herds of beef tend to attract rustlers, but Lilith learned how to take the fight to them, sometimes ending a threat before it ever began. Such was not the case with the zombies. But, she has faith that everyone will make it through.
