Zao brings Far Eastern philosophies to the world of engineering, where patient methodology often outperforms reckless experimentation. Zao traveled far across the Pacific to learn Western techniques and improve his understanding of the laws and principles governing engineering, and along with that he brought his unusual fighting techniques, themselves a method of relaxation and meditation, and on occasion self-defense. Little did he expect to be using his combat skills far more than his engineering acumen. But, such is the way of a zombie invasion.
