Bruin – Troublemaker
“I can’t help it if I have a smart mouth. It goes with my smart brain.”
He can be a trifle annoying (understatement), but Bruin was the kid that the zombies couldn’t catch. When the orphanage came under attack, Bruin helped barricade the kids in the headmaster’s office and used his impressive array of secret passages and booby traps to confound the creatures until help arrived. All attempts to keep him ‘safe’ in various sanctuaries across the city have failed. He says that it’s his world too, and if he wants to fight zombies, who’s to stop him? You’re not the boss of him. Most adults will reluctantly agree that he has a point.
