“It’s my town, too! And dynamite is fun!”
Kassey may be a kid, and perhaps she should be shuffled off to safety with the rest of the children, but she’s got an instinct for loot and has a talent for dodging between shuffling zombie legs. She’s hard to catch, and harder to kill. She even got her fellow kids at the orphanage to safety when the Headmaster turned into a zombie. The adult survivors might have a protective instinct for her, but they have to concede that her life is as much on the line as theirs, and if she wants to come fight, well, then that’s her right.
