As a wandering gambler (and occasional impromptu gunfighter) Tripps has earned a decent amount of coin and an equal share of infamy in parlors and saloons across the West. No one has ever been able to flat-out prove that he cheats at cards, but no one is that lucky! … are they? Still, when taking an entire table for every last coin, sometimes hard feelings come into play (particularly when the whisky has been flowing). At such times, it’s good that Tripps keeps in practice with his paired pistols, and that he never drinks.
