Most women don’t make a living felling trees as a lumberjack, but Abbie grew up in backwoods Kentucky as the oldest of six daughters. After her pa passed, and with her mama taken somewhat sickly, it fell to her to handle most outdoorsy chores, which included stockpiling wood for long Appalachian winters. It was rough going at first, but she’d always been a strong girl, and became an even stronger woman. Nowadays her axe-swinging talents work just as well on zombies as wood. The bigger they are, the quicker they fall.
