Raines
“My business never had what you’d call ‘repeat customers’ until now.”
Mister Raines was the local undertaker, a morbid, but necessary calling. As a young man he fell into the work by accident, having transgressed the law in a serious fashion and being sentenced to work with the local undertaker during a time of plague. The old man’s patience with his young parolee taught Raines a fair bit about the world, and an honest if grisly trade. Raines fights the hordes with his fellow survivors now, entertaining himself (if no one else) by speculating on the original causes of death among the zombies he shoots.
