Before settling down to the ‘quiet life’, Sheriff Hale made his fortune as an exhibition shooter and occasional posse member. Rumor has it he worked as a Texas ranger for some years, but it’s not something he’s ever confirmed. His style of law enforcement relies largely on a calm voice, a tall reputation, and weekly ‘practice’ sessions with his side irons where he still performs trick shots and quick-draws for anyone that wants to watch.
