The Black Tortoise guards the North and heralds the coming of Winter. It was among the first corrupted by the vile necromantic ritual which has brought doom to the Empire. Without the Black Tortoise, blizzards rampage across the Empire, reaching farther south with every passing day. Destroying the corrupted avatar will ensure a blessing of Iron Hide from the cleansed Primordial.
