Deadbolt Walkers

Walkers with weapons are not terribly unusual. Most of the time they’re gripping a blade or a mace or some other weapon they used in life. It’s likely sheer force of habit. They don’t wield them effectively, and their claws and teeth are just as dangerous. But then there are the Deadbolt Walkers. Crossbows are not simple weapons to use, but these do so in a jerking, clockwork fashion, almost like they’re puppets on strings. They’re dangerously accurate, and the cursed bolts slice right through armor and flesh!
