Runners

While the bulk of the horde consists of shambling Walkers, Runners can be seen zipping through their ranks, zeroing in on any survivors they might sense. How and why a dead individual becomes a Runner is one of the mysteries of the necromantic curse. It seems to bring out hidden strengths in the worst ways possible. Fortunately, Runners are no smarter than Walkers, and their speed can put them at a disadvantage if survivors have time to prepare. That said, there’s nothing worse than turning a corner and being spotted by half a dozen Runners with dinner on their minds.
