Shao is a Caquan, a species of people native to the coastal jungles at the Empire’s edge. They’re possessed of natural agility that makes most humans stare, and excel in arts that rely on exceptional speed and grace. Shao is an elder among his kind, versed in the arts of war and chi, and has taken it upon himself to guide his fellow survivors through the current apocalypse. This is not the first civil war he’s lived through. It’s the first one with so many zombies though.
